Welcome to International organisations

We are pleased to announce that Powiślańska Academy of Applied Sciences has been officially admitted as a new member of FEDE – Fédération Européenne des Ecoles (FEDE). The decision has been confirmed by the FEDE Committee, and our university has joined the network as its newest member in Poland.

With more than 60 years of experience, FEDE is an international non-governmental organisation present in 44 countries worldwide. It brings together nearly 560 higher education and professional training institutions sharing a common commitment to quality, innovation and openness to the world. FEDE holds participatory status with the Council of Europe and plays an important role in building a common international higher education area.

Membership in FEDE opens new opportunities for Powiślańska Academy of Applied Sciences in terms of international cooperation, development of partnerships, and participation in joint educational and research projects. It is a significant step forward in strengthening our internationalisation strategy and enhancing the quality of education we provide.

We are proud to join this prestigious network and look forward to future cooperation with FEDE partners around the world.

PAAS joins the Baltic University Program!

The Baltic University Program (BUP) is one of the oldest networks bringing together more than 100 universities from 10 Baltic Sea countries. The program began in 1991, initiated by Uppsala University in Sweden.

BUP promotes cooperation between researchers, teachers and students from participating universities, but also includes international offices and other university bodies. It also assists university management in strategic issues related to internationalization. Sharing similar experiences and facing similar challenges – both global and region-specific – participants actively pool their knowledge and find innovative ways to promote and implement sustainable development in their region.

The program also provides for the initiation, coordination and participation in transdisciplinary projects as a way to foster the creation of strong educational and research communities. As part of our membership with BUP, we hope in the future to offer our students and staff international conferences, student seminars, training and workshops, student exchanges, and research opportunities.
